Praise To God

(A.R.L.)

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all!

The sun, the moon, the stars above,

Verdure, valleys all below;

Clouds, anddust and water drop.

In betwixt the breezes blow.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all!

Stream, river and the oceans,

Woods and hills of lofty peak.

Snakes, dragon' and scorpions

Fiery insects in their shriek.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all.

Lightening, thundering, clouds and winds

Ice and snow and frost and fire;

Rain and moonlit pleasing nights;

Brighter days that we admire.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all!

Man and Woman, young and old,

Meek and humble, rich and poor,

Married, bachelor, lame and blind,

Praise Thee ever, O Thee Giver.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all!

Skylark and nightingale,

In heaven and their youngs in nest,

Birds that chirp and sing and dance

With their longing love and zest.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all.

Kings and knights and princes all,

Righteous, wretched rural be;

Gallants, cowards, prisoners in walls

Praise is on their lips of Thee.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all!

Muslims praying in the mosque,

Christian sermoning in the church,

Hindu tolling bells in temple,

And the army in their march.

Praise to Thee, O Merciful!

Praise to Thee, O God of all.

All the rich, and all the poor

Praise Thee Healer, Praise Thee Giver,

May be hypocrite, sincere,

Seek Thy help, and seek Thy shelter.
